Research Interests: Antonios D. Livieratos is assistant professor at the department of Business Administration of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in the fields of business strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. He is heading NKUA’s Archimedes Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Technology Transfer Office and Business Accelerator). He has long experience as a coach, consultant and founder in the startup ecosystem. Antonis Livieratos has extensive experience in the writing and implementing EU projects. He holds a PhD in ‘Business Strategy and Innovation’ from the University Paris-South 11, a MSc (DESS) in ‘Management of Innovation and Technology’ from the University Paris-Dauphine 9 and an undergraduate degree in ‘Economics’ from the NKUA. His research interests are in the fields of open innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship. More specifically he has done extenive research on open innovation in European SMEs using qualitative research and machine learning techniques. In relation to technology transfer he co-developed a technology transfer model entitled Develop+Protect+Commecrialize (D+P+C) that is currently applied in technology transfer offices. Moreover, he is developing methods and tools for teaching entrepreneurship on the basis of experiencial learning. He speaks English, French and German.
